IDP summary

for the beginning of the idp my team was all on task and everyone knew their part. i was in charge of describing what is prostate cancer, how do you get it, and who dose it effect. but later my team started slacking off and we didn't really get anything done, but later we began to rush and try and finish the project. at this point it was only me and me partner Hedie Garcia doing the work and our other two teammates didn't do anything. so the day of turning in the project came and we didn't have much but we tried, so we turned in what we had and all we asked our LAZY teammates to do was show up to present the project. and so the day of presentation came and unfortunately i wasn't able to make it do to a family emergency, but our two LAZY teammates also didn't even show up so my partner was forced to do it alone. so in conclusion never slack of f and always try your best.

this means that it is always great to do what is right, fair, and honorable. if you do these things you will be rewarded and if you are so focused on winning or loosing you will not be rewarded infact you will have consequences such as for example if you are so focussed on winning you will probably loose and you would have tried for nothing this is also why you should never lie, cheat, and or steal and remember to always choose the right.

Oncologist

Duties and responsibilities: Oncology doctors, or oncologists, are specialists in the treatment of cancer patients, either as clinicians or in research and academic settings. As with all doctors, the pathway to this career is a long and demanding one; after earning an undergraduate degree, aspiring oncology doctors must complete medical school and a residency and earn licensure.

Salary: A PayScale.com report from September 2014 showed that oncologists in general earned a median annual salary of $217,856 at that time.

Education: All oncology doctors must complete an undergraduate degree program, four years of medical school and a residency or fellowship program that usually lasts two to four years, depending on the oncology specialty. Specialty areas include medical oncology, pediatric oncology, radiation oncology, or gynecological oncology.

mr. penn is saying that the right thing will always be the right thing even if people do say its not and the wrong thing will always be wrong even if bad people feel its okay. for example stealing money is wrong even if you do steal it to give it to someone in need, because it wasn't yours to begin with. also, the right thing for example feeding the poor is right even if people make fun of you.

By this coach k meant that a good reputation was better than anything else in life because if you have a good reputation you would be respected by many people and you will always be remembered no matter what. for example, if you were always known to be kind and respectful to people that reputation will follow you no matter where you go, and if it follows you everywhere people will know about you and the way you are. If you have a bad reputation and you are known for doing bad things for example drugs,alcohol, etc people will not want to be around you. that is why it is always important to have a good name/reputation.

This quote is true because friends make you do stuff that are bad. They always tell you to this do that. They always tell you drink this or steal this or smoke this or inject this. If you don't do it you will be different and doing the right thing. and just by doing the right thing you will have saved your life and possibly the right of others,because if friends see you take a stand they might also stop being afraid to speak up.

this means that in order to be a real champion you have to do something that will not only make you a champion for a while but forever. for example if you were to win a basketball championship you would only only be a champion for a short period of time, but if you do something great you will forever be a champion. such as if you were to save someone's life you are a champion because you get to see what it feels like to have been able to save someone's life.

                 Ear, Nose and Throat

Duties and Responsibilities:  Ear, nose, and throat specialists, also known as otolaryngologists or ENT specialists, are medical doctors responsible for surgical and medical treatment of the ears, nose, and throat, as well as the related head and neck areas.

Salary: Currently, there are only 104 residency programs offering 280 spots for medical graduates.  This makes the competition pretty stiff.  Indeed, last year, 98.9% of spots filled before the scramble.  Most of which were American trained medical students.  Only 2 foreign medical graduates got an ENT residency last year.

Education: The first step in the road to becoming an ENT physician is a four-year college degree. While many students complete pre-med programs, it is not required. Regardless of your major, medical schools will want to see a strong college record in math and science, particularly in biology and chemistry.

what mr stein is trying to say is that, success doesn't just happen accidentally, you have to make the choice to be successful in life. for example, if you are going to school trying your best and working hard that is you choosing to be successful. but if you don't go to school and you're doing bad things you are not choosing to be successful in fact that is the opposite of being successful (unsuccessful). therefore you must choose to be successful in order to accomplish your dreams.

when he said this, james was comparing a goal that cant be accomplished to an irritation, because when you cant accomplish something you get frustrated and therefore, it becomes an irritation. also,  mr.faust compares an accomplished goal to a building block because a building block is complete and ready for building. further more what mr. faust was trying to say was that when your goal is to obey its very easy to accomplish that goal because all you really have to do is obey, therefore, it should be very easy to obey.

                               Dentist

Education: Dentists are licensed professionals who provide oral health care and preventative treatment to patients. Those who have a private practice also supervise the administrative parts of the business, including the accounting, personnel and facilities.

Summary: I would not like to be a dentist because I do not feel comfortable looking into someone’s mouth.

Education: Aspiring cardiologists need to obtain their bachelor's degree and then enroll in a medical school program. After graduating from medical school, they complete several years of internal medicine and cardiology training in a residency program. They must also become licensed as physicians by their state and pass a certification exam in their specialty.

Reflection: I don’t think I would want to become a cardiologist but who knows maybe in the future I will.

Audiologist

Duties and responsibilities:

Audiologists are ear specialists. Typically, these professionals work with patients who have problems with hearing, balance or other ear-related problems. Audiologists typically work in health care settings, although many also work in schools or educational environments. Common duties of these workers include identifying, assessing and treating hearing problems and balance disorders, discussing symptoms with patients, documenting treatment, ordering equipment and hiring employees. Much of their work is centered on the need for hearing aids. They must be familiar with the latest diagnostic tools available in order to determine both the problem and the best treatment option. Additionally, audiologists may be responsible for determining the level of emotional or mental stress the hearing loss may be causing a patient and referring said patient to the appropriate resources to alleviate the stress.

Education:

A doctoral degree in audiology is required of all individuals who want to become audiologists. The graduate program typically requires four years to complete; applicants must hold a bachelor's degree to qualify, preferably in a medically-related field. Most audiology programs include an internship or other clinical practice opportunity.

Athletic trainer

An athletic trainer is a certified health care professional who practices in the field of sports medicine. Athletic training has been recognized by the American Medical Association as an allied health care profession since 1990. As defined by the strategic implementation team of the National Atlantic Trainers’ Association in august 2007. The athletic trainer will practice said profession within the parameters of the North Carolina Athletic Trainers Licensing Law as laid out by the North Carolina Board of Athletic Trainer Examiners, and will follow both the Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics as set forth by the National Athletic Trainers Association. These duties are based on the needs of the school and its athletic programs. The athletic trainer’s duties, enumerated in this document, should not be considered all inclusive. my name is Jonathan Alexander Flores i was born on august 3, 2000 in Lynwood California. i enjoy doing many thing, my hobbies consist of drawing, listening to music, reading, and using my phone to go on social media. some of the things i enjoy drawing consist of, people eyes, and cartoon characters.when i listen to music i enjoy listening to various genres such as, rap, pop and r&b. some of the books i enjoyed reading were lovely bones, and maze runner. when im using my phone for social media, i like to go on snap chat to talk to all my friends, also i like to go on Instagram to see what pictures my friends took throughout the week.
